Each year on the third weekend of September, Diekroeger Park comes alive.

Thousands of people meet up, taking in the sights and sounds of Strassenbash.

This year's event is shaping up to be another family-friendly event. The annual festival will be held Friday, Sept. 15, and Saturday, Sept. 16.

Strassenbash is sponsored by the Wright City Area Chamber of Commerce and features a wide array of entertainment, including live music on both nights, a queen coronation, baby show, parade and 5K run/walk. New this year is a craft show. There are also dozens of food and miscellaneous vendors present throughout the weekend.
